#ListenFirst Coalition

170+ organizations promoting and practicing listening first to mend the frayed fabric of America by bridging divides one conversation at a time.

About the Listen First Coalition

The #ListenFirst Coalition is an informal network of 170+ organizations collaboratively promoting and practicing listening first to mend the frayed fabric of America by bridging divides one conversation at a time. The purpose of this front-lines coalition is to foster collaborative synergies where desired, keep all members informed of and involved in movement milestones, and to showcase the scope of impactful work being done coast to coast to encourage conversations that prioritize understanding. Coalition members support one another in sharing insight, best practices, new ideas, and opportunities for collaboration.

The #ListenFirst Coalition now powers the overarching, collaborative movement platform National Conversation Project to reach farther and impact greater than any one organization, to mainstream conversations in which we #ListenFirst to understand.

The #ListenFirst Coalition welcomes any organization—from any point on the ideological map—committed to promoting and practicing listening first to mend the frayed fabric of America. There are no membership obligations.
