About the #ListenFirst Coalition
The #ListenFirst Coalition is an informal network of ~250 organizations collaboratively promoting and practicing listening first to mend the frayed fabric of America by bridging divides through conversation. The purpose of this coalition is to foster collaborative synergies, scale collective impact, and showcase the scope of uniquely impactful work happening coast to coast to encourage conversations that prioritize understanding. Members support one another in sharing insight, best practices, new ideas, and opportunities for collaboration. Together, the #ListenFirst Coalition has built and powers National Conversation Project, an overarching collaborative platform to reach farther and impact greater than any one organization, to mainstream conversations in which we #ListenFirst to understand.
The #ListenFirst Coalition welcomes any organization committed to mending the frayed fabric of America and welcoming people of diverse perspectives. There are no membership obligations.
