Our movement began with a humble blog post-turned-essay that was published in dozens of newspapers across America reaching millions of readers. Since 2013, essays have been an integral way for us to give voice to the power of listening. In 2015, we launched a new essay series drawing on voices from across the country and around the world to apply listening first to everyday life experience as well as the most challenging issues of our time.
